Friendly from beginning to end, perfect location

While all other hotels had nearly doubled their prices for the summer season, this one kept theirs low, buffet breakfast was excellent and the owner made the best coffee i have found in swizterland. the location is brilliant - only three buildings from the train station, and while the southern room wasn't billed to have views of the eiger, we could still see it and the others from our two windows. sloped floor from being an aged building and small shower were the only real negatives, but the welcome, price, convenience and surroundings more than made up for any minor faults. did i mention how good the coffee was!

should i travel to grindelwald again, i will be staying here, and also recommending it to any friends who travel to the area.
