Hotel Belogna Ikons

Belogna ikons was definitely the best decision we made for our family holiday this year in July.

We were met and personally escorted to Belogna ikons by the owners themselves, a lovely cultured couple with traditional family roots in Naxos. Upon arrival at the beautifully picturesque but discreetly hidden hillside Resort, near a historical landmark the „Tower of Belogna“, we were cordially greeted by the rest of the staff members.

Our two-bedroomed villa unimaginably exceeded all our expectations. In reality the photographs on the website do not serve the actual Resort any justice. We were swept away with the meticulously designed and decorated villa with touches of luxurious and famous labels however paying painstaking attention to the use of traditional Naxian furniture and natural island materials. The arches of the doors and windows, the locking bolts, iron hinges, wardrobes and showers were all handmade by local craftsmen. The various views of the island's infinite blue sea and the rest of this majestical island including all the neighbouring islands like Paros, Mykonos and Syros are breathtaking. Sunsets are incredibly overwhemling (better than Santorini) .This alone justifies the strategical location of Belogna Ikons, allowing you the decision to visit the best beaches on the island ,all in close proximity ,join the nightlife in Naxos’ capital city, Chora, or simply retreat to the discreet idyllic luxury of your Private Villa.

The service of the staff was impecable at all times, immediately catering to our every whim and desire.

We found Naxos and the Naxian people extremely friendly and overly hospitable with some lovely Taverns and excellent food at astonishing prices. Naxos has somehow not lost it’s Traditional value of real Greek hospitality unlike many other Cycladic Islands which are overcrowded and overpriced .

Naxos has a fantastic history and an abundance to see and do, no matter what your interests and hobbies are.
