Tips and recommendations
Probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. A friendly, family atmosphere amongst the staff. We were made exceptionally comfortable and treated 'as kings and queens', in the words of one member of staff.
Location
Excellent location a few minutes' walk from the station and transport. Wonderful views across the valley. South facing.
Terrific staff! Nothing too much trouble. Friendly and generous in their welcome.
Gastronomy
Fabulous six-course dinners that looked as good as they tasted!
Sport & Entertainment
Excellent Jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms and fine indoor swimming pool. Very well appointed and open whenever we wished. Taking a hot Jacuzzi in the snow is very memorable.
Room
Very nice room. Warm, well appointed and comfortable.
Tips and recommendations
Don't hesitate! The Belvedere will do you proud.

Hotelier's comment
Dear Belvedere guests from Great Britain. Many thanks for having chosen our hotel for your stay in Grindelwald and thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope of course, that you will return. For example in the summer season, when all the meadows are full or flowers, when all the colors can be admired on the fields of our beautiful valley.
The hotel has a very long tradition with British visitors. 100 years ago, during my grand fathers time, there were almost only British at the hotel, they all used to come by train, organized by Thomas Cook. In the mean time the hotel has become much more international, English is however still by far the most spoken language at the hotel.
We are looking forward to welcoming back, which would make us proud.
With best regards.
Silvia & Urs-B. Hauser
