Marvellous hotel!
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is big enough to not feel cuttled, but small enough to feel warm and welcome. You can stay anonimous but you can also become friendly with the personel and other guests if you want to. We choose the last option and so they knew who we were and what we liked. The food and beverages for example, they met our needs perfectly!
Location
The hotel lies in the middle of Grindelwald, almost near the railway station. Perfect spot!
Everything you wish for is there, just ask and they will provide!
Gastronomy
We booked half-board and to our own surprise we got a 6 course dinner every night! Especially the dinners at Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were sublime.
Sport & Entertainment
We only went hiking and sledge-riding, so we didn't need the other facilities, but... there were a lot of guests who went skiing and we only saw happy faces at night, so it must have been good ;-)!
Room
Everything we wanted was there. Large room (we booked an eiger suite), beautiful view, large balcony and a good bed. And, very important since we are Dutch, the room was orange, so they met our needs perfectly ;-)!
Tips and recommendations
Please take a world adapter with you. We forgot it, the reception (ofcourse) provided us with one, however, if your hubby wants to use his computer and you want to dry your hair, it's usefull if you have more then one ;-).
