Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWonderful Hotel, very friendly and competent staff. Wonderful views from the hotel on the landscape. The food was excellent, could in my opinion not taste better. Furthermore, the kitchen is accommodating when it comes to special requests are concerned. Unfortunately, the selection and the offer of dishes in my opinion not very large. This is particularly clear at the breakfast. For a four star hotel 1/2 I would have expected a more comprehensive breakfast buffet. Therefor the breakfast is served until 10:30 o'clock and you can arrive until 21:30 for dinner in the restaurant, so you have enough time for those wellness area has trips and. The surrounding area is by nature an easy. A description is not functional. Grindelwald you have to with its own eyes and experience. Wellness-friends will find in the hotel but rather a small wellness area. However, the hotel is also a Wellness center, but a Belacqua-Hotel. For me and my girlfriend got sufficient (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor brine bath, sauna, adventure shower). The hotel was very clean, this applies to all areas, such as a restaurant, wellness area, front desk and the rooms. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds in the seventh heaven hijack the clouds mattresses. The tv in the room from the previous times and offers HDMI, not all TV channels (but not into the vacation, in order to look away). The bathroom was also very modern, clean and comfortable. On the whole the hotel deserves its four star 1/2. The only drawback: the price/performance could be a bit better in my opinion.

Lieber Belvedere Gast.Herzlichen Dank für Ihren Besuch in unserem Hause und besten Dank auch, dass Sie bei Holiday Check einen positiven Kommentar abgegeben haben. Sie erwähnten da einige Punkte, auf die ich gerne etwas näher eingehen möchte.
Sie sprechen das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis an. Ohne Reduzierung von Serviceleistung können wir nicht günstiger werden. Unsere Mitarbeiterkosten haben mit 46% bereits eine sehr kritische Marke erreicht. Ein grösseres Angebot im Restaurant würde auch eine grössere Küchenmannschaft bedingen, was unsere Lohnkosten dann sofort auf über 50% katapultieren würde. Ab dieser Höhe schreibt ein Hotel rote Zahlen. In einem Ferienort ist ein Restaurant ausserhalb des Zentrums leider nicht mehr profitabel, was durch das Verschwinden mehrerer Restaurants bewiesen wurde. Um ein richtiges Wellness profitabel betreiben zu können braucht es in der Schweiz über 200 Betten und sogar dann noch wird es eng. Unser Haus mit 100 Betten ist dazu leider viel zu klein.
Seit 5 Jahren versuchen wir eine Baubewilligung für einen Ausbau (Verdoppelung) unseres Hauses zu erhalten. Bisher sind aber leider alle Versuche an einem Nein der Behörden gescheitert. Bei diesem Ausbau würde der Hallenbadbereich verdreifacht, ein kleines Wellness würde entstehen. Auch sonst würde das Hotel sehr viel attraktiver, doch steht im Moment leider in den Sternen, ob ein Realisation je zustande kommt.
