A great weekend with small drawbacks *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is nicely situated and is good to relax and go for a stroll. Vaals is right next to the Dutch border, so that the road is not too far. Vaals is a small village, which only little has to offer, but to Maastricht, there are only 22 kilometer and you found everything there, which one needs. The rooms are new and modern furnished and the size is okay. Very good, I think, is that the toilet separate. Unfortunately there is only one German TV channels. I think that for the price of the hotel and it, that it was direct behind the border, not appropriate. The breakfast was on the first day not so good. There was only one type of sausage (salami) and one sort of cheese. On the second day it was better, then there was roast beef and salmon. Also the breakfast cucumber and tomato cut must, I think with as a upscale hotel not appropriate. The pool was great. A little small and shallow, but it served its purpose. Unfortunately in the rooms, no bathrobes and no Pantofeln. This you have to rent for 5 €.
