Hotel deserves more than two stars *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe somewhat older hotel owners Nicos is a very nice, sociable Karpathiot with dry humor. We have gained him dear. The hotel has four floors with a lift. Our room was in the back with view into the inland and the pool. Unfortunately, you could not sit on the balcony, since it was all too windy and we are the wind on Karpathos used after the third stay. But it was too much to sit outside. The beach is across the street at a tavern located, also the beach chairs and umbrellas and the fee eintreibt. From the restaurant you have a beautiful view of the beach. The pool is nice and the size was enough. It also has a separate children's area and a trampoline for hineinköpfeln. At the pool bar you can enjoy the whole day drinks, ice creams and snacks, toast, burgers, sandwiches. You can directly book this hotel if you are on the hotel website or by mail. The structure of the guests was rather one-sided and Dutch. Nicos and the young lady at the pool bar can speak excellent English. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The safe and the air conditioning is extra pay. Fridge is included in the room rate. Prices at the pool bar and at the hotel bar are very cheap beer, wine and cocktails, but beware of Nicos cocktails. For inexperienced was already after a cocktail end, if you pack at all. :-)The breakfast was as previously mentioned very simple. So it was not a buffet. Vis-a-vis the hotel is non-Sixt car rental, but not too far away are other rental car company. Many taverns are within walking distance too lazy to walk to. Further there is vis-a-vis a new Protzbau four or five stars cabin Konstatinos Palace in Karpathos as the fist on the August the hotel I recommend to others and look forward to guests Nicos from Austria or Germany.
