Nice Hotel, bad food *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were for the first time in Halkidiki and at the Blue Bay Hotel. The hotel itself is very nice. well situated between the two places and Afithos kalithea. It fits right in the landscape and wasn't a cement building. Nice staff. Foreign language skills (English and German) good. All the points already mentioned other assessor (view over the sea, etc.) to take entirely. The downside-access to the beach over 156 steps we found not so bad.
The biggest drawback for us was the food. Unimaginative, very well arranged, the same every morning breakfast. In the evening the food was very good, mostly German guests. Little or no Greek kitchen-a shame! is not a 4 star hotel.
Would recommend the hotel nevertheless, since there are otherwise very nice.
