Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were for the fourth time for windsurfing in Rhodes. For the first time in blue horizon Hotel. The hotel is located in the landing path to the airport, the machinery thunder very deep (CA .200-300m) a way. During the day it wasn't disturbing, in the evening or at night, you have to get used to (but quickly ☺ Main flight days do so, otherwise very little noise. At the hotel there is not much to complain about, what facilities and cleanliness. However, if you are looking for a typical Greek food, this is not the place to go. Not even close offered local dishes. Typical European Hotel food. But, what they offer, was absolutely in order! beach = Pebble beach (very nice) plus lawn. JP-surf center with boards well equipped, sail a bit expensive! material definitely not in top condition, but still acceptable. Now for the criticism: the incredibly noisy evening entertainment! at night from 9-11. Conversation on the balcony impossible. Incredibly, as our daughter (6 MON) this could sleep. Many guests flee in the city and were rewarded at eleven in the hotel again, if it is over! ☺ Conclusion: great for windsurfers, for a pure beach holiday there are certainly nicer places (for example) on the East Coast of Rhodes. The planes do not disturb, you can make a big mistake with the hotel.
