Hotel Blue Palace

It is located on the beautiful beach of Tripiti Beach, about 40 minutes walk from Limenaria-center (there is a path that leads along the beach to Limenaria - nice walk). The area itself is not very big, but it has a very large pool with tavern, tennis court and air castles for the children.Shopping is the most important thing in the hotel shop / IRIS gold in 5 minutes. removed (jewelry).

The staff is overall very very nice and accommodating (languages: English and German.

Breakfast buffet very fine. A chef prepares omelets and other egg dishes too. White beans, sausage, bacon, etc.  Many fresh fruits such as pineapples, melons, strawberries, bananas, etc.  granola, cheese and more. Sparkling wine free of charge every day. Also mineral water and non carbonated. Since hotel is small never a big crowd. All very clean. Please, no half board advance booking. You can tell after a day if you want to eat there. You can be flexible. Price 35 € per person. Wine from 22 euros a bottle. Eating can be done very well, presented nicely and beautiful. You will not suffer from hunger. There was enough for frequent eaters. Cheaper to eat in the town of Lindos on the romantic rooftop terraces. For 2 people including wine and aperitif, starter and main course 50-60 euros.

It is also about 10 minutes from the hotel "Grand Beach" reached where there is a bar/tavern. Otherwise you can walk in the evening to Limenaria (bars, taverns, evening street life). By car, one needs 40 min. to Thassos town, where you find the evening night-clubs. In the evening it is quite quiet. The pool for adults and children is always very large. For children there is a playground next door (inflatable, slide, sand box), will be offered extra air castles. Chairs and umbrellas by the pool for free else on the beach € 6, - incl 2 drinks.

The rooms are small but very elegant and modern with couch, table, bathtub, hair dryer, refrigerator, safe (extra pay), TV (reception of BBC, RTL is better in the lobby), balcony with table. Air conditioning.

Rental cars there are different prices (Avis compact car for 4 days € 125, in Potos Tours: 1 week 100 €). Below ground is not insured and the access roads to the beaches are (better go) only partially useable.recommend a boat tour (9:00 to 17:00 including Barbecue: € 38, - excluding transfers to the port of Limenas). Taxi to Limenaria costs this year € 5.imperative that you try a "bakery" in Thassos (large selection of pastries/cakes/pastries).
