Good location to explore around Angkor *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is in a good location away from the hustle and bustle of Siem reap and near the entrance to the main temples of Angkor. The hotel has a beautiful 'Khmer' atmosphere due to the decor, the player of Khmer-musical instruments-about a small tip also very pleased and the Khmer liqueur. The breakfast buffet is good, but not exceptional. The staff was partly even a little overzealous, so that even our table was already cleared away, when we came back from the buffet. The room is very nicely in the Khmer style, with minor flaws were (grip of drawers were torn off), which were only poorly repaired. The rooms were cleaned every day, but unfortunately the sand, from the temples with the room not removed. The food off the breakfast buffets was good. Unfortunately we liked the pool area a bit disappointed. The beach chairs were OK, but the towels were already very old and also largely quite dirty. Furthermore, there was the guests allowed to drink alcoholic beverages in the pool, which made a more inclusive-feeling. Moreover, the drinks in glasses at the pool was served, gave us a good feeling, since this is an absolute taboo for security reasons. In addition to European guests, there were guests from North America and only a few from Asia, which is undoubtedly due to its occurrence in large trip troops is to be assessed very positively. The most beautiful we found the temple with a Tuk Tuk, and our driver with German punctuality the most rain, we can only recommend it.
