Central location - perfect for a city break *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Boston Park Plaza is a huge hotel with a full block occupied. It has a long tradition (built in 1927 ) and was probably lavish renovated in the last few years. The condition and the cleanliness of the room was fine. I had a single room without breakfast. The guest structure was nicely mixed what age and nationalities.
Location
It is very centrally located right next to the Satdtpark Boston Common, so all sights are within walking distance. If you want you can also use the metro which one stop right next to the hotel (ca. 100m). From the airport, it is also possible by bus or by train to reach the hotel (about 30 minutes). Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance as well.
The room cleaning was done daily. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport ($14 per person). I was told the staff of the hotel only worth it you're traveling alone otherwise a taxi is cheaper. Other things were not used.

Room
The single room was very small but sufficient for sleeping. The room had a safe, iron and ironing board, coffee makers, desks and a TV. The bathroom was also very small but perfectly functional and clean. The general condition of the room was good with a few small deductions in the details.
Tips and recommendations
A sight-seeing trip to Boston is highly recommended. Make sure you catch the freedom trail walk everywhere Ducktours and with the bus. They are amphybian vehicles from the 2 . The World War II for sight seeing converted. In the evening Prudentialcenters observation deck.
