Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA fairly large hotel but with a family feel. Mainly German speaking guests but the staff can speak English. The price was all inclusive which meant full board, excellent breakfasts, cakes and dinner. We didn't really eat lunch as we were skiing. Great slopes accessed by the free skibus. Childcare also included in the price, this favoured the German speaking kids but was fine for us as there were 4 kids in our groiup and 2 other English families.
Location
Based in a small town, the main winter action is in Bad Kleinkirchheim. A free ski bus runs there from the hotel and a separate kids bus. The hotel is sited next to a lake which we could skate on with free skate hire from the hotel.
Really the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the langauge was not an issue.Room cleaning was fine, we used the laundry for a small fee. One of used the Dr in the next village. Childcare good asmentioned.
No complaints.
Gastronomy
There is one main eating area, food was fresh, plentiful, varied and delicious. We were all glad we were skiing to burn off the calories! Family friendly atmosphere and we felt the kids were welcome at any time.
Sport & Entertainment
Childcare ran from 8.30 to 21.00 and you could dip in and out. Internet access for a small fee.
The sports complex had 4 pools, several saunas and optional extra treatments. All well maintained.
Room
An good sized suite for our family of 4, comfy beds, good bathrtoom, warm, lake view balcony. Safe, baby listening phones, safe, 2 TVs and minibar.
