Our stay at the Hotel Bristol Fagnieres
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFirst impression of the hotel was a warm friendly greeting from Brigitte and Daniel Masoon. The hotel has 23 rooms and ours was spacious and comfortable. WIFI access in the rooms was good as was the general information available at reception. Towels were changed daily and we could not fault the cleanliness of the room. A super buffet breakfast was served in the breakfast room. The hotel is conveniently located (10 mins away by car) for Chalons-en Champagnes, near to the autoroutes, trains etc. One of the best showers I have ever used.
Location
The Hotel is located on a main road and we found the traffic noise just a little too much with the windows wide open. The shutter system helped to reduce the occasional noise but for absolute quiet the window had to be closed. Plenty of good restaurants nearby with a wide choice of styles and food types. Hotel staff helped with good recommendations.
Staff were very friendly, humorous and went out of their way to resolve any difficulties

Room
Room was always clean and fresh towels daily. Phone, TV with European channels, hair dryer swivel mirror, power points, twin or double bed available. Rooms located on the ground and first floor. This is a budget hotel and we had a room with a "garden view" at the rear of the hotel.
