The best place to stay in the perhentian Islands *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe best hotel on the island of perhentian Islands a. The rooms are rather small (especially the bathroom), but with a nice balcony, and clean. No tv, but you will need anyway. Some rooms have a connecting door to the next room, noise will be 1:1 transferred ☺ The rooms are spread over three floors, whereby in the back rooms the noise of the hotel air conditioning the impact on sleep. A change of rooms was not a problem, but could be difficult when fully booked. The rooms on the ground floor are also a little bit loud. On the rear of the building, there is the kitchen of the restaurant, but it is not disturbing odors, since the meals under the open sky to be prepared. A few are the heap of nine very nice large monitor lizard.
The restaurant has for Malaysian standards high prices, but they are in our opinion quite justified. It is a European and Asian menu-everything was really very delicious. Breakfast is served on the terrace (covered and free standing), fresh omelets, croissants, eggs, toast and everything for those Asian breakfast palates. Excursions (snorkel, boat tours) can be booked at the front desk. The shops are located nearby of cosmetics and medicines which ordinary almost better stocked than the one or the other store in Germany. Also nearby a bookstore with the most usual languages, one can be selected book just swap (not much!) for the tour operator Busweiterreisen on the beach. The beach-fantastic! In addition there is straw beach umbrellas and beach chairs with foam material mattresses, in the high season probably hot are very popular.
We would definitely want to go back!
Speaking of complaint: due to the bad weather announced it was no problem one day early, although it was paid by credit card. The chef gave us our restaurant bills and snorkeling excursions simply offset.
