Very nice resort in a tropical garden *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AReally very nice buildings in extensive tropical garden with lots of plants and were no. Several restaurants, the Sunset bar, with the finest sunset far and wide and the very nice and modern in-room amenities make this the best holiday hotel which I have seen in a long time. Above all it has Aussies at all age groups in the hotel and how Australia is mutual dealing very friendly and uncomplicated and not at all "noble".
Location
Right at the top of cable Beach. From the Sunsetbar about 100 m above the grass or the drive.
Friendly, easy going, low-key, as it should be.
Gastronomy
Several restaurants (Thai, buffet, ... ) Especially the Setset restaurant is very nice. Tip early eat and enjoy the sunset! However, the food were somewhat "Australian" and the staff can provide no real gastronomy training, as Europeans is much better. But in Australia looks a lot you very relaxed, but there are all very friendly and uncomplicated and this is a good thing. But it is close to the hotel a couple of small restaurants which a better kitchen to better prices.
Sport & Entertainment
2 pools, one for children, one for the adults. Tennis, gym with coach, spa. What more could you ask for, but at the temperature we only pool really needed.
Room
Modern, large rooms. For the first two nights we had a standard gardenview room on the ground floor, for the following nights then an oceanview room in top floor. The room was really great and we had (rooms in one corner) a huge balcony with lounge chairs. Also free wireless internet with top signal on the balcony.
