Mid-right in the heart of Edinburgh *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis is a very old but very nice hotel. We also had one of the best rooms with a view of the Castle. Due to the holiday season the hotel was very empty. Breakfast was British hotels also very good. It is served from many of the staff spoke German.
Location
The hotel was right in the center of town. It is almost everything is within walking distance. We had our rental car in the courtyard of the hotel.
Very good friendliness, nice staff.

We only had breakfast. This was very good.
Sport & Entertainment
A pool with jacuzzi. Here a bit worn the ravages of time, but quite pleasant. A gym is also available, but we didn't use it.
Room
Very nice large room with a king bed. There is nothing on the service was missing.
Tips and recommendations
The weather was great. Unfortunately had on 25 12, except the Chinese not a local or similar open. To this day so was the Essenspreis significantly higher than normal.
