Bed & Breakfast on a high level *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were after a hike week stayed at the Camilla House and was very satisfied. The owners are not typical Landlord & lady, but rather guy Young Urban real dropouts, a bed&breakfast style set up as a new existence - the motto of the Camilla House: "Quality needn't cost the world" ... And you are right. The decor is charming and thoroughly care about the guests, front desk with coffee and detailed introduction to the local gastronomy, breakfast plentiful in different variations, bicycle rental at contribution to a non-profit organization. The highlight for us: a real warm and cold Wassermischer in the bathroom, so no seperate taps for cold and warm water, as usual. The rooms and grounds were well maintained and clean, although in a typical B&B-size. The location: pretty centrally located at the harbor, car parking, walking distance to the city center of Penzance -7pm. We will the Camilla House to book again when we went to the area.
