The location of the hotel is very nice. The hotel Cantemerle situated between Nice and Cannes on a hill, just a stone's throw away are Vence and Saint Paul de Vence, small towns, their charm and beauty really artists such as Matisse or Chagall inspired by. We stayed in a family room (pull-out sofa and emergency bed), the very cramped and worn out. Our room was noisy - the guests drove with the cars on the parking outside the rooms were. The access to the garden and the pool area was about the restaurant terrace, past inclusive) guests. The garden is nice, but the pool was too small and right next to the restaurant. Everything seemed very cramped. Disappointing is the high price for the rather little quality of the hotel. Typical of the Cote D'Azur! The staff were polite and helpful. We didn't feel comfortable in this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.
