The Captain's Inn is an ideal base for divers, surfers and kite surfers. For a "normal" beach holiday probably not the best choice because there are no has its own beach has a pool. Nevertheless it is possible, beach and pool with a sister hotel to use. I didn't, so there are no qualified statement. The room decor is simple but functional and clean, most of the rooms have a balcony, but unfortunately my was on a not so great facing a back courtyard, I rather than "storage" are used. There was the possibility of having either half board or to book only breakfast. As it in El Gouna, especially at the Marina was a variety of nice restaurants, breakfast is absolutely the right choice. The breakfast buffet is not outstanding but plentiful and very tasty. I didn't use the restaurant itself.
