Great relaxing week! - would love to go again! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is a little off the beaten track, it has a bit plain outside in the first moment. However, as soon as you enter the hotel lobby, there is a great panoramic view over the pool landscape and the colorful flowering gardens overwhelmed. through this beautiful Gartenpracht two paths lead ( circa 150 meters) to the hotel's fine sandy beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for a fee; very GBP126 here also the beach bar that is included in the all inclusive offer; also the toilets on the beach were very clean! The hotel itself was completely renovated in 2007 and was in a very good condition. Everything is very clean. The staff at the reception were always helpful and friendly; there was no understanding problems. The entertainment was okay. Apart from German guests, there were at our time especially Italian and Austrian families in the hotel, also a few Swiss and ( I think) Czechs. But not only families, but also single couples. Everyone was very pleasant and nothing seemed aufällig. - So if you prefer a lot hustle, bars and nightlife, should look for another hotel in other location. We had a double room with an extra bed, which was completely enough for the three of us. The rooms were always spotless, and the towel service worked great. The food was good to very good, perhaps a bit combines imaginitive-rich. Also great childcare facilities and the kids disco at night; our 6 year old daughter loved it, especially from Sabine. After the bus only about 4 times a day stops directly outside the hotel ( nearest bus stop 1km away), we were rented a car from the hotel's own car rental. This was essential cheaper than the offer in our guest relation and especially more flexible. We had a car on a morning and one afternoon and we only paid only use the one-day rate. Worth seeing is definitely Kos-city. We really had a great relaxing week in a great setting. Kos is a very cute little island and we would love to come back to the Caravia-beach.
