Hotel Caravia Beach

The hotel is directly because of the beach with hotel-own couches and sun screens, which can be rented against fee. Purchase and maintenance possibilities in closer environment (approx. 1.3 km distance. Directly before the hotel several times a bus drives on the day, with which one can drive to Marmari and Kos city. Trips rather directly in Marmari or Kos city book, since they are importantly cheaper than by the tour operator are offered. A rented car is recommendable. Also rent these better in Marmari, but price comparisons catch up. We paid 110 euro for a jeep (Jimmy) for 3 day. Refuelled we put nearly 500 km back for 20 euro and to have thereby; -)

The staff was very friendly and always around the guests endeavored. German-language staff at the reception and also otherwise one understood us well; English knowledge is helpful, if one is times not understood so well. The animation team, consisting of 6 Italian/inside, 1 German, 1 Polin and 1 Ungarin strives to speak all languages. We had no complaints, but 2 desires (additional cushions and de-energizing of the safe), which were met within 5 minutes!

1 nonsmoker restaurant into also the meals in Buffet form to be offered. An external terrace is directly attached on to be also smoked may. 1 Cocktail bar, 1 pool bar, 1 bar at the pool of 10 - 24 o'clock was occupied and where one also noon and dinner in “abgespeckter version” received could. 1 beach bar (after ice and alcoholic beverages, there it asks at first attempt is not evident). The staff is always endeavored to keep everything clean and tables with table laundry is constantly provided again. About a tip the staff is pleased much. It was for us an acknowledgment of the achievement. Even if we gave it only at the end of the vacation, we were served always very politely and friendly. Thus a tip is also not absolutely expected; -)

The animation team, consisting of 6 Italian/inside, 1 German, 1 Polin and 1 Ungarin, is pointed moderate. We had no children thereby, but the animation team worried during the day in the mini and junior club affectionately about the small guests (in the evening mini disco). For the adults there were sufficiently to sport and maintenance possibilities, in the evening with live-show. The rooms have all (liable to pay the costs) an Internet entrance. A small Internet area is present also in the hotel. Beach and pool are very clean; Beach chairs and sun screens at the pool free of charge, at the beach against fee. Showers are present at the pool and beach.

The hotel rooms have a good size and are equipped all with corner, refrigerator, safe and air conditioning system. Balconies or terraces are not there at the hotel rooms. The bathroom has a normal size (with bath tub shower). Hair dryer, Kosmetikspiegel and Kosmetiktücher are likewise present. Since the hotel in 2007/2008 was completely reconditioned, one can weight about nothing; -)

A rented car for 3 days at a fortnightly vacation is to be explored recommendable around the island Kos. June is almost ingenious as a travel time, since still everything to flower and is not yet too hot (30-35 degrees, which one does not notice however). The sea water is already warm and it loads to bathes. In any case one was it for us a successful vacation, in which it lacked us nothing.
