okay hotel in a very central location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ADuring a business trip I was at the Hotel Carlton on the boulevard de rochechouart in the middle of Central Paris building. The front desk in the early evening was pleasant. With English at the reception no problems. I was given a very large and spacious room on the seventh floor, which for Paris conditions almost a suite would be matched. If you want a spacious room want to 713 questions... large bathroom, large bedroom and quiet located to the inner courtyard (see designed photo). Great location of the hotel in the 9th district close to several sights. Metro station and bus stops almost on the doorstep. Breakfast was okay: rolls, croissants, cheese, boiled eggs, ham, salami, jams, Nutella, eggs, cereal... for French standards, a good standard program. Room was very clean and tidy, except for four tiles outside of the bathtub, which is unpleasant discolored and not fit into the picture (unsettled rust or something like that). To be recommended was the panorama terrace on the ninth floor of the hotel (until 23 hours a day). Unfortunately this was at the time of my stay (2 days) for roofing closed. The photos in the elevator guaranteed a view over the city including a view of the Eiffel Tower lit in the evening. Conclusion: very good standard hotel with great location. Thoroughly recommended.
