Hotel Catalonia Oro Negro

The hotel is located in playa de las americas, in which almost only british tourists balls you like to get your moneys worth. The distance to the halli-life-the beach was fine and easy to find. The quiet and clean beaches but a bit further away. The only excursions in the immediate vicinity offers the siam park, the south is culturally-intersted Vacationers rather uninteresting. The opportunities for shopping is not much to say: extremely overpriced drag flashing signs and entertainers attention. The whole of the island with the bus TITSA within easy reach to the airport it was about 30 south-by car on the tf -1 about ten minutes.

The room service from the staff is second to none bad. The room-trash was emptied and the toilet paper unexpended filled up -not more. The consumed and dirty towels were on the floor and hung back. All toothpaste or cream stains on the mirrors, mountings and slices were not cleaned-absolutely nothing were washed damp. The sweaty and sun cream mah blanket on the bed was recently pulled. The sandy Floor untouched. Except spanish and insufficient spoke English the cleaning staff no languages. We had to call for clean towels manuscript.

We enjoyed our neuntägigen stay with booked half board. There has been an area of the restaurant on the ground floor of the main building. From 07:00 to 10:00 and dinner from 18:00 until breakfast 22:00 o'clock.

For a three star hotel is the restaurant size was in order. The tables a bit close to individually, but easy to reach. The air conditioner system on the ceiling leaked and the appetizing sight of lime and mold similar deposits. By food and drinks caused stains and leftovers on the floor and the furniture were overlooked and not from the staff cleaned.

The selection of food was rather adapted to the preferences of british tourists. All warm dishes were always fatty, greasy and hardly taste however.

For breakfast there were rolls, inter alia, cold cuts, fries, Mushrooms, beans, bacon and eggs. The free coffee was simply inedible.

To the selection stood in the evening two vegetable preparation, a potato and meat, pizza, salad, fruit and a small selection of ice cream and desserts. As' fresh ' partly for its meat (in the stored during the dinner standing behind the counter) prepared, in the entire area of the restaurants in piles greasy smoke clouds in the sky. If you don't mind about the hygiene and the cleanliness of the kitchen busy, one could take the offered dishes (except for a few exceptions) to itself.

The evening entertainment program ended (mostly very punctual) at midnight.

Our double room was a disaster! The mirror of Schiebeschranks Handabdrucke and full Fingerflecken. Loads trim grease stains on the walls and the windows to the balcony. The wooden floor was swept-not only roughly mopped. Difficulty of access or dusty and dirty corners were all together. The room had an air conditioner, a ceiling fan, two roll beds, a chair, rental safe and tv equipment equipped.

The ceiling fan made loud noises, so at night it (the bed to love) switched off had to be. The beds were found roll, did however already ajar by moving. Plugs there were only three pieces: one in the bathroom and two nearby the tv equipment-whereby one for those Tv was provided. Plugs nearby the beds there was no. The safe was in the closet to find roof. It was not established or otherwise attached. You could have it comfortable from the room and from us even in the closet and moved pulled shall be, because otherwise the door would not open. The offer was for German tourists' sport ' enough-was the only German-speaking program, otherwise only spanish or English TV channels. The bed standing room telephone didn't work-a Auswärtsgespräch was impossible.

The bathroom with its countless toothpaste splashes surprised at the mirror and the storage area. Here too we found fat scum everywhere. The white wooden panelling was the bathroom ceiling was completely strewn with reddish-brown, greasy hand and fingerprints (probably due to sun cream hands have arrived where it is). The tiles around the toilet yellowish discolored, the porcelain of the toilet bowl in one place shattered, transparent slide naps in the bathtub dark stained, the poor. Oro negro the catalunya in tenerife south (playa de las americas) is not recommended. Better you can book another hotel, since you're but often back to shower, rest and sleep intends to withdraw. The cell phone reception was problem-free, wireless internet in the rooms not to receive. As travel time was at the end of August-so we could extend summer retreat in Germany the bit. A rental car tenerife is on duty and absolutely unproblematic-so we could flee the place reasonably priced and still had a nice time on the island.
