Hotel Catalonia Oro Negro

The location of hotel is not bad, 20 minutes from airport. The beach is not so near, arround 10 minutes of walk. Otherwise it is ok, there is a lot of shops, bars and restaurants around.

Staff in our opinion was horrible. Nobody speaks foreign languages, they say maybe the first 3 words in English, and then they immediately switch to Spanish.
Nobody was especially nice in the dinning room, everybody minded their own bussines, sometimes they did not even say "hello".
We`ve travelled a lot, and nowhere in the world have we felt so unwelcomed....

First, the dinning room is pretty messy. Beside this, the staff did not take dirty plates off the tables.
The food in generally is ok. Breakfasts are too greasy . Dinners are tasteful. After a while menues start to repeat and become very boring.
The choice of pastries at dinner is horrible! Every single day there is fruit and ice cream, and almost nothing else! If you are lucky, after 4 days there is cake or something like this, but not very eatable.

Pool is definitely too small for such a large hotel.

Rooms are nicely furnitured, ours was very spacious, but very very very dirty!!! We were horrified. There were long black hair in the bathroom every day (not ours), the sink was not cleaned for whole two weeks, the room was never vacuumed.... The balcony was also very dirty. We can not find the words to describe this. It was too much even for a 3 star hotel.
