Hotel Cavo D'oro

The hotel is situated just a few meters from the beach. Mamari somewhat remote from the center. In the direct area there was some cozy taverns and cocktail bars. Highly recommended is the Aegean. From the hotel entrance onto the street, turn left by foot in a few minutes to the village center Mamari. We ate very good in gemini & Givaeri. In Mamari there is plenty of car rentals. But you have to compare prices!!! We had Kombos-Rent a small car for 90 , - Euro for 3 days. 3 Days completely enough. Otherwise, we would recommend bike. If you ambitious and experience the rent a scooter, quad or rather buggy. The Konstantinos supermarket in Mamari has a lot, but is comparatively expensive. Right on the road between the hotel and resort center Mamari there is a mini-market "Farni" (or something like that). Is right across the street from a large area. This is the least expensive mini market. And you get all important things. U. A.. Water, beer, wine, mosquito repellent, ice cream, etc. To Tigaki we found it is quite far away. The best you walk along the beach. Tigaki is both day and night more overrun by tourists than Mamari. In Mamari it is much quieter.
