Well-kept city hotel in the heart of the Big Apple *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe staff was always friendly and helpful. A Page stops a the go in and out the door. The bags were taken up to our room and we were shown to our lovely room. Coffee maker was available throughout the day and tea for free. I would like to highly compliment the housekeeping, which up to 3 times a day there was to make the bed with new and shampoo, shower gel, etc. where appropriate. A "sweet" and put on the bed. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. There is a flat screen TV, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, clock radio with i-Pod docking station and a welcoming large bathroom. In the immediate vicinity there is lots of opportunities something to eat; here I want to "Keko cafe" with excellent coffee commend (Madison, 30th). At the reception desk you could rent an umbrella, if it rains. You can book optional breakfast. Among other things I have seen and heard croissants as a staff individually according to the guests' wishes concerning drinks and, for example the eggs asked the way of preparation. This was served at the table. Of course, the "Chandler" right in the heart of New York's and I am less than a 3 minute walk from the Empire State Building and still for New York standards rather quiet location. Unreserved recommendation!!
