Hotel Chateau des Arpentis
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis hotel is the most beautiful my husband and I ever stayed. Past with modern time gratifyingly intervene in this chateau. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel located close enough to city Amboise, may be 5 minutes by car, but hidden away in scenic landscape (very wooded area) that makes you feel as if you are far away from civilization.
Hotel rooms are very beautifully decorated and very clean.
Location
Hotel located close to probably all the most famous Chateaus. Closest one is Chateau de Amboise, which is about 5 minutes away by car.
Stuff are very friendly and helpful. There is a large laundry room, that also has ironing board and iron.
Gastronomy
Hotel was severing only breakfast. And what a great breakfast it was! Very tasty and I believe every morning freshly baked. Since city is so close to this location, it was very nice to run to local grocery store and get some food and have lovely picnic in front of hotel or have a romantic dinner in the billiard room by fireplace.
Sport & Entertainment
There is a nice pool, but we did use it because our vacation was in October.
Hotel has free of charge interenet in each room. We had no issues to use it.
Room
Room is large, nice, clean and beautifully decorated.
