Very good location, very friendly staff *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAt the hotel there was nothing decisive to complain about, it's not a great new building but mostly renovated inside and a very well maintained and unterhaltenem condition. No complaints concerning cleanliness. Not too big but very nice garden with outdoor swimming pool.
Location
For a city in a top location, right next to the lovely and huge municipal park in Christchurch, on the way in the city on foot could cross and absolutely one should (approx. 20 Minutes, yes so big is the park! ) The park is so nice, that you like doing that although the hotel a complimentary shuttle service into the city offers shuttles, but you should reserve ahead. Bus stops close by. The street noise stops relax with many rooms very limited or is not hear it. Our room was on the hotel parking lot / side street and not the quietest using existing room, overall but also here very little street noise.
Very friendly service from reception and in the restaurant. Also 100 % suitable for families with children.
Gastronomy
The breakfast buffet is extremely rich, and fresh fruit, salmon, cereal, hot breakfast etc. etc. And the price for that adequate (if you only one piece of bread and a coffee for breakfast, you will eat out of course the cheaper).
Sport & Entertainment
The outdoor pool we and our children re-use, not very big but 100 % OK.
Room
Our room had a stylish furniture and very comfortable beds. Noise from other rooms or corridor minimum to not hear it. The A/C could be adjusted.
Tips and recommendations
Free hotel shuttle in the city upon request (in front of the book breakfast or the night before), absolutely enough time for visiting the city park, this is endless large and beautiful with the rented kayak or paddle boat hire on the Avon River through the Stadtpark paddle ...
