Relaxing days between olive trees in Tuscany *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe 'Chia saia ' is a quiet country house about 400m below the main building and 4-star hotel Villa Pitiana which is lovely at a West hill overlooking the village is donnini. The check-in, as well as the rest of the services (pool, free internet and WiFi, bar, restaurant, breakfast buffet...) are within the aforementioned hotel and the staff is also treated as a hotel guest (knowing full well, that it for a night in the Chia saia only a fraction is charged). All services may be used without restriction what the stay for us (couple, 28 J) very pleasant. The Chia saia itself is a renovated country house with about eight guest rooms with good 3 star status, and in the summer with a private pool!
We were greeted by the staff generally very friendly but also, in particular in the procurement of reserved tickets for the Ufficien in Florence (! by Internet possible and long waiting reien saves!) as also on arrival in the city (first tickets for the train to the reception and then, with the car ten minutes after p. Ellero and from there by train in 30 minutes to Florence) the best advice.
If you want a few days to spend in this country, has good possibilities in the itself, before opening a Tuscany, should be at least one mobile or hiking buddy! Dinner with a view of the sunset from the terrace of the hotel should definitely be enjoyed! On the one hand, the kitchen was very good quality to a very reasonable price (Primo ~,10 , secondo twelve until 16 ) provides, on the other hand because you are looking for a good bottle of Chianti (Antinori or similar from the depths of the Tuscan wine list for example: Ornellaia) and the subsequent walk to saia under starry Chia or other deer or perhaps the a a herd 'tame' wild boars grazing get the can! Conclusion: pleasant, quiet hotel/cottage for 1a three days to recommend much!
