Good base for a Chicagourlaub *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASmall but good middle class hotel near downtown Chicago.
Location
Very good location for tours in the city center. The city is perfectly within walking distance. The hotel is situated in close proximity to Lake Michigan and Grant Park.
Very friendly staff. A bellboy waiting in the lobby on its customers. Wireless internet but had to be rented.
Gastronomy
The adjoining restaurant was too expensive for us. Breakfast was the menu was quite limited. We ate elsewhere afterwards, see tips below. We didn't use the bar.
Sport & Entertainment
We only used the pool, it was okay. But there was also a fitness area.
Room
The rooms were updated and well appointed. You could even a windows that open for fresh air.
Tips and recommendations
Here in the portal we found the tip in the neighborhood at Yolk (also on South Michigan Av. ) To breakfast. What a good tip we requested. With a day for about $6 per person, you could 24 hours a day and the elevated underground and bus.
