Since the opening of the citea Saint Louis (Saint Louis new adagio) four years ago, we are each year the Christmas market in Basel a night here descended. We are the place to stay as practical and, above all, very much cheaper than all hotels in Basel. Furthermore, the rooms are clean and modern equipped. The small rooms are not very large, the bathroom a little larger for ten Euros to go there again. But it was perfectly fulfilled its purpose. As already described, you can park your car in the parking lot at the hotel, walk across the border for about 300 meters away from the tram stop and in ten minutes in Basel centre. The multi-storey car park in Basel to pay a whole day costs almost half of the stay... There is also breakfast in the hotel. This is typically French, coffee, juice, butter, jam, a large croissant and a baguette for seven, 50 Euro. We prefer but in Saint Louis to a baker to go, you can get your coffee and the choice was bigger. To date, the employees were at the check-in each time very friendly and helpful. As mentioned above: if you arrive outside of the front desk, you must notify and they give you a code for those safety deposit box and key from the room. We are already eagerly awaiting, in one month we will go back to Basel and will stay in citea again, pardon adagio.
