Excellent kitchen, beautiful park *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel airone is located in a beautiful park right next to the bay of Portoferraio. The kitchen we felt as varied and furnished to a high standard. Each dinner was for us a joy. On request the restaurant also individual requirements, for example, committed against allergies.
We were with two kids (7 months and five years) about two weeks in the hotel. In the first weeks (the last the off-season) was us no further than to guest with kids family. In the week (the first of the season) guests were almost exclusively from the families with children. On families is from the reception via the restaurant to the pool and the entertainment very well prepared. During our stay, there were mostly Italians to guest. A few Swiss to the time spent at the hotel airone as your holiday. We were the only Germans. Austrian group spent a week of Vorsaisaon two or three nights in the hotel airone.
The free pool, and children's swimming pool are with sea water. Access to a real beach the hotel a has not. Beautiful sandy beaches are only a few kilometres away from the hotel. The old and downtown Portoferraio it is about three or four kilometres. If you stay in the hotel airone, should have a car with you. At any rate, it is because of its convenient and nevertheless very quiet location a good starting point for tours of Elba.
