Low budget ' club hotel in a beautiful location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Adecent three star hotel in a quiet, but very nice location. The rooms are rather poor equipped, but it didn't bother me. The staff were mostly friendly, sometimes friendly with ease. The pool is, in fact, not nearly as nice as in the photos. The food was good and also diverse, but not quite as plentiful as I expected from other club hotels. The spa area I did not used, looked rather simple, but clean. You can, however, the very nice wellness area of the neighboring hotel H10 Robicon use (gym and spa)-costs about 20 euros for three visits, 25 euros visits to five, or ten euro for a visit. In hotel Calimera many sports activities (volleyball, tennis, aerobics, etc.), but I found the aerobics classes, tennis court not so nice and it has therefore not used. The beach in front of the hotel is small but nicely in terraces laid out. The water was at the end of December too cold for me. Bathing shoes are necessary. The coastal path to Playa Blanca and the papagayo beaches great, about eight kilometres in length. Cycling it is worthwhile. I can also enjoy the trip ' Lanzarique ' recommended-very interesting, the volcano park timanfaya is fantastic (from quite a lot of Travel agents offered). All in all a 'low budget' club hotel-but Calimera is advertising. Next time I will try for a similar price in one of the spacious laid out four star hotels book. I think, that the price performance ratio better is.
