Brilliant hotel for a super holiday
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AGypshophila is more of a village than a large hotel. All the buildings are only three stories high. Everything is very clean, if anything was spilt on the floor it was immediately cleaned up. All Inclusive means all incluslive, you could eat and drink the whole day long, from breakfast to late night snacks. The majority of the guests were German but very friendly.
Location
The hotel is on a private beach so you don't have far to go. The next town is Alanya which can be reach via the local bus which stops outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. Excursions are plentiful.
Staff are very friendly and most speak German. The cleaning of the rooms was very good. There is a doctor on hand and if you have a good insurance you don't have to pay the consultation fee as they will directly bill your insurance company.
Gastronomy
There is one restaurant and two bars, not counting the restaurant. The food was excellent and plentiful with a wide variety, there were Turkish specialities and good European food. The cakes were out of this world.
The restaurant was very clean and even on the terrace area was spic and span.
Atmosphere was very good and there was a box for tips by the door.
Sport & Entertainment
Overday there was lots to do, darts, archery, bocca, air rifle shooting, volleyball, gym, water gym, etc.
There were two large pools and a childrens pool. All were very clean and there were sunbeds and umbrellas for everybody. Everything was kept clean and tidy and the gardens were well kept.
There was a kids club and evening entertainment.
The animation team were excellent and you could have a good laugh with them. and they put on a superb show in the evenings.
Room
The standard room was very large, it had a 3qt bed and a single with a table and two chairs and a dressing table. There is also a mini bar, safe, air conditioning and television and you have a terrace or balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom was a good size with bath/shower and hairdryer.
Tips and recommendations
Mobile phone access was excellent. There is also internet access available and a couple of shops and hairdresser. There is also a massage parlour and turkish bath. This hotel is great value for money.
