The best holidays ever

Location
The Kos island is a very nice and interesting place and friendly for tourist in general and a great holiday destination. The hotel is in the nice and quiet location, very close to the beach (just across the street). If you are into biking it's a good starting point for biking trips (quality mountain bikes available in the hotel, but you have to book a guided tour, or rented in the nearby town). Not too far from the airport, too.
The only downside is if you want to use "outside facilities" (like go out to restaurant, use ATM, laundry or whatever) it is not anywhere close.
But as it is all inclusive hotel it not really a problem, and you can always rent a transportation (a car, bike, scooter).
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had no problems at all.
Excellent Mungo Club for kids up to 6 yo (animations, mini disco, games, etc.) with great and devoted staff. Although it was almost exclusively in German (as vast majority of kid were german speaking) - it could be a bit more 'international friendly'.
If I have to point any deficiencies it would be poor internet availability (WI-FI in reception and the bar areas) and no laundry service (you have to go to Tingaki, which is quite a distance).
Gastronomy
Food was very good quality and in wide variety. However you might be disappointed if you expect an experience of Greek cuisine.
Drinks, snacks available at the pool bars.
Sport & Entertainment
SPORTS
A great destination if you want to spend your holidays and do some sports.
Windsurfing
If you are into windsurfing, this is really a great deal, as ALL equipment is available free of charge, and in wide variety and good condition (all sails, board sizes and accessories you can need). No problems with availability either.
The beach location is also great (and safe) as the wind almost always is land bound.
There's also kayaks available.
A great water sport team too (Hey, greeting to Korkmaz, Chris, Alex and the team! Nice, professional and helpful guys).
Biking
You can get quality mountain bike (fee of charge). However you cannot go alone, but with the guide (isn't it strange?). The upside is you can rent quality bikes in the town nearby (what we did).
Swimming
Three very nice pools (and the beach of course). You get fresh towels btw.
There's also three tennis courts, football, volleyball archery and some more (we didn't use it) - all looks nice.
ENTERTAINMENT
Very nice dance shows every second day. I was surprised to see so great dance team in a holiday resort - we really enjoyed that.
Room
Family room could be a slightly larger, but other wise it was nice, clean, air conditioned and in general more then satisfactory.
Tips and recommendations
Second half of september was excellent - warm sea water and not too hot.
Skip the Austrian evening in the restaurant, except for Kaiserschmaren ;-))))
