Hotel Colosseum, be careful not to be recommended!! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel looks from the outside is quite appealing houses seven floors with about 20 rooms per floor. The hotel is attached to a average pool with about 30 reclining chairs although some broken. The entrance to the hotel looks handicapped friendly (there was a ramp for wheelchair users) but as soon as one is located in the lobby, may be the steps leading to the no way past, going for one of the two elevators. The main part of the guests are a mix of English and German tourists together.
Location
The location of the hotel is pretty good. Within 2 minute walk to the beach and there are also plenty of shopping. Discos are within easy walking distance and if if you are too lazy to walk there is for around 10 euro for an hour the golf cart or rent a scooter. Decrease quality for the more than 10 Hotelbaustellen in the area. The transfer time is about half an hour.
The staff. Well. Apart from the manager, and if you're lucky, the receptionist in the hotel hardly anyone spoke German and even get by with English you not too far. The only alternative is as there is no communication with hands and feet. In the clear advantage, when you controlled Bulgarian Russian or the language. The waiters in the hotel restaurant the stupid tendency to remove the used dishes from the table immediately, which on the duration quite annoying. It has just been finished or the cutlery plate and woops everything was gone. In addition, the waiters the tendency jokes about the guests to make it what Otto normal holiday makers not hear anything, but for someone who understands what they say about leads to a huge tantrum. As for what the friendliness I experienced the only the cleaning women, by a subcontractor arrived and not to talk about the hotel itself. Complaints were either with ignorance or reacted with aggro off a couple. Kids care was a foreign word and additional services were Quite simply not available.
Gastronomy
The gastronomic conditions in this hotel was the absolute horror. For breakfast and evening meal was generally buffet. In the morning the meal times were from 7 until 10:00 and in the evening from 6:00 PM until 10:00 pm. The selection of * foodstuffs * varied between rock hard rools about some with different side about tacky pancakes to in oil floating were an unidentifiable mash vegetarian and fleischlicher fare. In the morning, there was water and * juice * (Trockenkonzentrat with water) free and at night it was already 90 Stotinki (approx. 40 cents). A small bottle of iced tea (0 ,25l) cost for the first two days 2 leva (about 95 cents) and from the second week at once 2.50 leva. But we did have a half liter beer from 1.70 leva. Overall, there were 20 tables, including 10 for up to seven people and 10 for 4 people, which in view of the size of the hotel is a joke. The ambience was bland (slightly pink-colored walls). There was no theme nights. A final word to the food. 13 to 14 days diarrhea speak for themselves.
Sport & Entertainment
Apart from the pool so the actually standard is and not to attractions can be counted there was nothing. A fitness room and sauna were in construction, however I wouldn't recommend the use by the latter. Hygienic reasons.
Room
Size and design of the rooms were standard. There was satellite TV with the typical in Germany channels. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Once I had to complain about the sheets (some dried blood on the sheets) and a few times were * fresh * towels were dirty. So in the middle of our holiday was my room had a mosquito plague met and I could within half an hour 8 Abschüsse (killed mosquitoes) for me booked their CARCASSES till the day we left on the walls was sticky. So much for the Putzfreude our maids.
Tips and recommendations
I would recommend as absolute Travel Tip: * Don't go in the hotel * Otherwise car hire is recommended (about 50 euros with risk etc. For a Peugeot 206 5 -door), but only if the driver nerves of, cables as the servers made there are driving. Even so-called * like an off roading ADVENTURE * is a very fun and worth every one of it's 57 euros per head
