Great hotel for city break! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe spent 5 nights at the Comfort Inn downtown and this hotel to anyone for a few days to explore Vancouver, highly recommended. The hotel is centrally located right downtown. quite plain on the exterior, you still super well immediately upon entering the lobby. With a lot of attention was the lobby with cushy sofas and free internet throughout the day you can take coffee (regular and decaffeinated). Everything made a very clean and neat impression. And this impression continues in the room fort - ours was in the 4 . Floor, facing the street (which is where the hotel entrance is). The room was quite small, but the first moment a bit depressing, but you could quickly get used to it and we felt very comfortable: Everything was super clean, the bathroom light, modern decor. Because the hotel is located on a street, this popular revellers at night (until quite exactly 3 hours) a bit hectic. This did not bother us but the first nights - especially since we could not sleep because of the time difference anyway, was the view from the window to the numerous stretchlimousine, the pulled up and the nightly city skyline a welcome employment. A highlight was the breakfast room (breakfast included! ), which was in the adjacent Irish pub (direct access from the hotel) was. Although this is one of the most popular pubs in downtown is no trace was here in the morning from the late night and bustle (dirty tables or similar. ). The atmosphere was rather unusual because of this location, exceptional and the choice of food and drink for a North American city hotel for us completely satisfactory (bagels, Philadelphia, jam, waffles could do-it-yourself, cereals, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, juice, water, cocoa). Other than that we only found in a very friendly and helpful staff.
