Wonderful city-hotel in the best location *

The Cofort Inn is situated in a perfect location for exploring the city. Transfer from the airport: about 35 minutes. For about $30 CAD (the bus would cost the same, thus we found the taxi more scenic). We were the first to the tower (approx 10 minutes. ) and made from above an overview uses. Nearby there is also a sightseeing bus (ticket purchase in the hotel, for 2 pers. about 70 Canadian dollar incl. ice cream or a piece of Marple candy on the central station). Steamclock, seaplane-Airport (very highly recommended! Nazca lines for 99 can. Dollar per. P.. - A real dream! ), Car rental circa 10 minutes. Walking distance (Alamo - the partner of car del Mar, in D. - 48 Hour. For €70 ), Yaletown around the corner (great bars and restaurants; we were one at the Yaletown Brewery). We are a day by car 250 km out after Hells Gate - impressive. If time is: Please make sure to have a lunch-stop in the Elvis truck stop make - incredibly cheap and delicious blt sandwiches, loving service and a trip to a different world; (o) The next day we could go on a ferry to Vancouver Island - Approxitmately 1 hour., the best on the Internet-reservation (15 can. $per ride incl. Van) at BC ferries (google), Victoria is a nice town, but more impressive was navigation through the shady islands - a dream! We are on the top deck from one side to the other running back and forth and knew what we first photograph shouldn't ... The journey takes One-way 1.5 hour., on Vancouver Island again about 45 minutes. And you are in Victoria - so great manageable on the same day, if you like we only 5 days suburb is + is not to be missed will; (o) The harbor on the mainland side is great, by the way, this is a great place to have breakfast + shopping, highly recommended the Mount Everest Schoki I seen anywhere else and is absolutely delicious ... Stanley Park is definitely worth a visit. The best with the sightseeing ticket then let him drive them (this applies for 2 days - even as "transport" and the days haven't even Successively is also e.g. on a Monday and Thursday). You could easily buy souvenirs: best maple syrup - but needs to compare every shop has to the same product different prices - the best around the steam-clock, as are viiiiele souvenir shops (I also checked supermarkets about it - but apart from this, I didn't want to lug packet of which were also in Germany is but a souvenir pack, was the supermarket more expensive than souvenir shops! ). At the steam-clock is also a T-shirt and jackets-shop with Vancouver fonts and Emblems - funny, it is "Aldi" product: Giada * g * Sketchy: in the Vancouver (presumably Canada? ) are all net PRIZES! There are 5 % taxes and if necessary "Arbitrary" Provinzsteuern on top - even with a bottle of water from the supermarket ... We were a little disappointed from Granville Island, which we were expecting something more, fun was, however, the ride with the "Nutshell" from the Science Center to Granville, that was a blast; (o) a couple of notes to the hotel: It is perfect, but is actually enormous clairaudient! You can almost hear your neighbors through the wall breathe and now this is not exaggerated. But no problem with ear plugs and no reason, so not to select this hotel. The negative point is: no safe available on the room! But an iron and ironing board; (o) The pub, in the downstairs breakfast was served, was really great. The breakfast - well, there is waffles do-it-yourself (really a witty idea), some fruit, delicious muffins, jams and maple syrup, toast, Philadelphia cheese, hard-boiled eggs, think yoghurt and that's it. Coffee, tea, cocoa, water, orange juice. You will absolutely enough to eat, but if you are after something hearty, you have to get on hard-boiled eggs with Philadelphia cheese and salt, there aren't + pepper limit time a tomato slice of. But that is not really much - for a city tour and most importantly is to be close to the action and short ways to have and preferably not far away verplempern valuable time on, and then you are in the Comfort Inn is perfect repealed: O) If we ever go back to Vancouver again, then definitely return to the Comfort Inn - we liked it convinced (booked through ADAC - you can't beat good value). Oh so - Internet access is available in the hotel lobby, which is perfect. We flew from Düsseldorf directly with Air Berlin - was a great flight and especially the stunning views on Greenland was a treat: O)
