Hotel Comwell Kolding

We stayed from the fifth to ninth August 2010 at comwell kolding, as it with about 52 euro per night in the double room (booked via hrs.) for us was very reasonable.

Location of the hotel:
The hotel is a bit by the zwischendurch city center Koldings. You were within walking distance in about 15-20 minutes however. With a car, you're 5-10 minutes in there. Nearby of the hotel are the kolding theater and the hospital (ambulance hears one however hardly and only rarely).

Rooms:
the room has a standard size. Although we had booked a double bed, we got two single beds, which one could push together. There are also two bedside lamps for reading and bed. You can choose from six different pillows sites for the best sleep, at the front desk are available. However, we are at the Standard pillows we could have stayed longer.
In the room there was a sufficiently large, opened Walk-in closet (hangers available) with mini bar (which we didn't use it). Furthermore, there was a large flat screen Tv in the room, in the we three German International channels. A desk with keyboard (wireless internet, but it costs in the room) was also available, as well as two armchairs and a small table.
The bathroom has a shower and is a bit small, but this was not a problem for us. It can, however, only one person at the sink. For liquid soap, shampoo & shower gel, as well as Tissues is provided. The towels selection was relatively large: one bath towel, two medium-sized towels and a face-cloth.

Service:
The maid service was always the perfect time in our room, while we at the Breakfast. They were always very tidy and cleaned every day the toilet, beds made, if not before we arrived, trash bins emptied etc.
The staff at the front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. On the last day we heard, that German was spoken. We got the whole stay only in English, which, of course, is not a problem.

Breakfast:
Breakfast is served from 7:30 until Monday Friday of -9:30 o'clock. At the weekends to ten o'clock. It was included in the room rate. The selection was small, but ok. Different bread rolls, breads, cereals, yogurt and types of quark, a bit cold cuts (3 types of meat and cheese) and jam were offered. Also a small selection of hot food (sausages, eggs...), as well as Pastries and melons were there. During the breakfast service staff was constantly running around, which was hard, the empty plates clear up. From time to time they are a little slow former. There is also the possibility to sit outside and have breakfast.

Other:
In the hotel there was a bar and a restaurant, though we didn't go there. One day even a grill buffet offered. Besides, an outdoor swimming pool and spa area, which we also not used have.
As it is a business hotel is shown, also room with computers and internet access available-free of charge. Conference rooms and auditoriums there.

Conclusion:
for those Price the hotel is absolutely unbeatable. For Danish prices. If you spend lots of time outside and the hotel only to sleep, you will not be disappointed. The hotel is very modern equipped and also popular with families with children.
