Hotel Conquistador

A great location for a city break. All attractions are within walking distance. Also to the city (shopping) it is not too far. Also the Palaststadt "Los moros" de la Victoria is good (according to rent a car There is also good budget guide buses you).

The front desk staff was friendly and spoke good English. The service at breakfast was ok.

We stayed at this hotel only had breakfast, found the breakfast but compared to other hotels/ Paradores not so good. For example there was the restaurant not very comfortable, to the other choice and quality of breakfast left to be desired. No coffee brought to the table, there was a large coffee maker for self catering. I choose a cortado, however very thin normal coffee that actually not a hint milk contained. The other coffee was too thin. The orange juice tastes synthetic and Serrano ham looked the rest of cold meats are not that great. Camembert was already had been sliced and really nice to dried. You can be at the variety was full of a 4 star hotel, but what you would expect.

The rooms were small, but clean and tidy. Depending on where your room was, there was room with window in the bathroom. Overall, the room was a bit dark, the furniture not our taste, but all in all it was functional (with mini-bar and safe) and fine. Positive impression of branded hair dryer in the bathroom, the not firmly installed was so that you don't have to dry your hair in the small bathroom, but could go to our rooms. Not very good was the performance of the air conditioning. If in midsummer it even hotter, the air conditioning probably little.

We stayed for 2 days in Córdoba, we would have a night on reflection but also served here. The sights were all very close by and easy access with its program. The hotel Conquistador is at a price of about 100.00 Euros / room with breakfast and parking a highly recommended city hotel with small flaws.
