Best vacation in the best hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery quietly located 6 floor hotel with ca. 70 rooms, was very clean and generously furnished with Sat TV, a safe, very substantial international breakfast buffet. There were guests from every country there, for example, Australia, Russia, Italy, Germany, USA, England, Austria.
Location
The hotel was ca. 10 km away from Dubai City. It was half an hour ride from the airport. Nearby, there was a supermarket, a pharmacy, and smaller cafes and stores. The hotel also included two swimming pools, its own beach by the sea, beach chairs and parasols, as well as beach towels, which were free of charge and sufficiently available.
The very friendly and hospitable staff spoke very good English. The hotel manager was from Germany. The room service was great, daily fresh linens and towels.
Gastronomy
We booked our stay with only breakfast included. Besides the beach bar, the other dining options at the hotel included a cafe, an Italian and an international restaurant. In the international restaurant, one could choose between various multi-faceted and excellent buffet-style dishes (Mexican, Arabic, Asian, Indian) for € 19. The prices in the Italian restaurant were comparable to the prices in Germany (pizza € 8,50, salad € 3, spaghetti € 7,50).
Sport & Entertainment
Plenty of beach chairs and parasols, two very clean pools, a beach by the sea with white sand, very quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
Room
Generous rooms ca 20 m2, with Sat TV, safe, refrigerator, coffee machine, very clean.
Tips and recommendations
Best price/service ratio, taxis are the best means of transportation (Attention! Make sure to only take the taxis that have a taxi sign on them and to insist that the taxi meter be turned on before your ride). We paid € 46 from the airport to the hotel. On our way back to the airport though, it cost us only € 10.
