Loveliest unforgettable 5 days
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI had the opportunity to spend brief but most exhilarating 5 days at the Il Pelagone form Oct 16 to 21st. Three of my good friends were welcomed warmly and afforded the best accomodation for 4 (Villa 139) just perfect for 4 ladies ages from 40's and above young at hearts so to speak! with rest and relaxations and also engages in mini adventures around the tuscany areas as well!!
We were accorded with the utmost patience and care by all staff at the front, especially by Christina ahd her colleagues, Roberta , Teresa, Angie and Andrea! In the food front we enjoyed the meals beautifully prepared each time. The tables were well presented. I most remembered the salmon and lemon chicken !! the desserts!! Wow such meals fit for kings and queens! We did feel like queens for 5 days! The accomodation was excellent, rooms in the villa were always clean and well done. To sum it up it was a phenomenal experience we had ! The most enjoyable adventuring around Tuscany with help of the taxi services; with special mention to Stefano. We could not have asked for more, a most remarkable 5 day away from work!

we visited Isle of Elba thru bus tour, we were impressed
also Castiglianno des Pescaia, Sienna, Massa Maritima and Rome!
enjoyed every bit of it.
Staff are excellent! All have always ready smiles for us!!
As above the rooms were always spic & span!
we also had back massage- an experience well appreciated by our tired back/limbs!
no major complaints...
Gastronomy
Meals were done very well and deliciuos except for some frog fish!
great variety of salads enjoyed most them.
breakfast fares were sumptous; a lot of choices and healthy choices available
one thing - coffee were not hot - always lukewarm, perhaps the container its served from?!!
Sport & Entertainment Unused
did not avail of this - too cold! enjoyed the walks all around the resort from rest to villa and office..etc

great access to internet and news/weather put each day; good service to customers who has no time to do internet.
**readily accessible taxis is good, however a reasonable/package deals, rates might be condusive for traveler like us from north america who will travel more if prices are negotiable and have regular accesss to bus tours?!!
If we had time we would have gone more outings to surrounding areas of interest, Umbra, Verona or the Amalfi coast??
