good value for money in the fashionable Tribeca *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe wanted to spend once new year's Eve in new York and to book us have already decided in the summer this hotel because of the good price/performance ratio. The hotel is in Germany the three star standard. It is a bit dated, therefor but very good location. The rooms are big enough and well equipped. I personally was missing a dresser or a walk-in closet, since I don't like 'out of a suitcase' life. My friend was not so much due to the fact, that there was only a desk with two drawers was. The bathroom has a bath and daylight window equipped. From our room we had a beautiful view of Tribeca, and even on the new World Trade center, which still built is. One day the toilet flush did not work any longer, but was immediately taken care of, after the front desk argued. We found it strange, that on the second, as well as on the fifth day of our 8 day stay the room has not been done. The Reason therefor is still not clear. We complained but not. Tribeca is a very nice area in which good bars, restaurants and shops. Directly in front of the entrance of the hotel there is access to the metro lines 1, two and the third at the next corner in addition a, C and so on so you are really very fast, comfortable and reasonably priced in the town as well as anywhere else (for example the airport). Despite the difficult for us to ertragenden allergic carpet, we would visit the hotel again and recommend it.
