The hotel is located in a very convenient location. There are many tourist destinations in a short time. The hotel was booked by coach parties staying, so strong change. The hotel features an inviting winter garden and a very large lobby.

Location

Hotel is located on the edge of grantown-on spey. Shopping in the town. Good starting point for excursions on the east side of Scotland (Loch Ness, Inverness, Nairn, Elgin, Glenffidich House and Hardenberg Castle and Distillery are).

staff were friendly. If you towels at the front desk", "nachbestellte you got this delivered to the room. The front desk if we could get a bicycle rental ask and it was everything to us. You have in a lot of effort.

Gastronomy

The breakfast was a little "poor" for German palate (toast, jam, coffee, tea at the table/orange juice, yoghurt, grapefruit, cereal at buffet). "cooked breakfast" (Nuremberg, bacon, fried eggs, tomato) could be ordered. Dinner was delicious. 3 -course menu with each 3 per course dishes to choose from. Menu only in English.

Our room was on the first floor over the bar overlooking the garden. Size was enough for 3 nights (2 separate beds, 1 armchair, table with mirror, TV, hairdryer, kettle, telephone). Separate bathroom (a little noisy) separated by a sliding door. Room and bathroom were clean and recently renovated. Walls are paper thin. Our room was right above the bar/restaurant. Music and loud voices. At 11pm was ignored. It was quiet in the hotel. on the status of the other rooms (at the adjacent adjacent wing) I can't comment. There were however passengers our party which nothing good reported ...

Tips and recommendations

Hotel as "Durchgangshotel" was to be recommended, d. H. 1-3 nights. Not suitable for wheelchair users! The first steps already at the entrance (also for heavy suitcases a problem! ). elevator is available. If you for the 1 . Floor uses, some rooms still only about more flights of stairs. As well as the bar and restaurant.
