Hotel Crest Suite

The central location in Miami South Beach perfectly parallel between Collins and Washington Avenue is hard to beat. Around the corner from the busy Lincoln Road, the mostly pedestrian zone is decorated with plenty of shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and even cinemas and Kleintheatern and of course gardens. The beach itself with the board walk is only two blocks away, the Ocean Drive with adjoining park only four. The transport links by car, bus or taxi is great. Free parking is available in front of the hotel, but no on or -TIP - only about 2 blocks away in the 18th Street parking can be without restrictions may apply.

The reception is open 24 hours, in the morning at the little bistro breakfast a la carte. The staff is friendly, the room service was good, wishes and complaints were taken.

We had only continental breakfast (booked), but that was ok. There is also a large selection of food at not quite cheap american breakfast.

Except for a very small and carelessly designed pool area, the also directly on the sidewalk and the road and is there was no sport and entertainment possibilities, as well as obligatory TV that didn't work.

The rooms are by American standards was on the small side and more utensils, the bathroom is very small and also spartan furnished. The air conditioner was noisy, and the overall decor a bit old.

Lincoln Road (far-reaching pedestrian mall with restaurants, cafes, green areas, street performers, cinema, theater, art galleries, boutiques, shops), long beaches from the finest and the grandiose also long Boradwalk, Espanola Way (small atmospheric pedestrian area with small restaurants and bars), Flamingo Park, Ocean Drive (Drallewatsch (mile of bars) with for the rich and famous and such, the support it; -), Lummus Park. Best travel time I think that winter season (we had during the day and at night around 30°C 20 -25°C and the ocean is still warm enough to swim and the humidity limits).
