Nice hotel in a not so nice beach *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had booked a week at the Terra Maris. 9.30 and flew on Sundays. Price for one week with half board was 743 Euro for 5 minutes to flight. The hotel is adequate for the price. But do not expect too much because of the five stars. Withstood posted notices saying at 9.30 a.m. in the morning were already reserved the pool. The beach is a mix of sand and gravel, which is ok but not a dream beach. The pool chairs on the beach were good, of wood with cushions. The main restaurant is large and very close so that seats stood in the mornings and evenings there was a qualifying bustle and Lautstärkte. We wanted to have breakfast at late riser breakfast by the pool. There you can eat outside and it is much more quiet. The half board in the evening, you be applied specialty restaurants. However, it is only 10 to 12 % which rather small. We didn't use. We moved after the first day the room because it was very small and old (803a). We had no problem a new room (866 ). This was bigger with a sea view. However, the bathrooms rather ugly and not really 5 * standard. We had to our room on the departure day, as usual for a period of 12 hours rooms ( pick-up 17 hours). Got a room in the main building for showering. The extension could 120 euros, hello? The rooms in the main building were rather new; definitely the bathrooms were nice. Guests at this hotel mostly came from Russia and Israel (? Not sure; know the language not! ). Some Austrians and Dutch, but hardly any German. The place is like Ballermann in Mallorca, or Playa del Ingles in Gran Canaria. Strip for teens with plenty of clubs and bars and restaurants and souvenir shops. All in all a great holiday. For the price and for a week seaside holiday the hotel is ok. If you pay more could get angry ...
