Hotel Croce di Malta

Also in the years still a older hotel-but with a lot of charm. Reception, lobby and large public lounge and furnishings dignified. Restaurant and bar nice but rather unimpressive. The hotel also had a nature walk-in wine cellar. Small and cosy with good food.

We had to unfortunately twice move-in the first room the air conditioning not working (in July with 40 degrees outside unfavorably) and the second room we only for the a night should use, since this was quite small but still comfortable.
The room for the three remaining nights was terrific. Actually a building room with high ceilings, was but a (gallery) by intermediate to a room on two levels. Downstairs living room with leather sofa, minibar, armchairs, secretary, flat screen TV and closet. Top large double bed, bedside tables, secretary and large closet in the hall. Bathroom with bathtub fairly new, bidet, a large washbasin and each day new towels, sheets and shower kit. The room was the color design in soft ' Tuscany-colors 'held. Very tastefully decorated, and very clean.
Furthermore, we had a small balcony with two chairs and a table. This, as also the windows are but absolutely in need of renovation.

It is in this city to a typical Italian-run hotel. Very friendly and tried very hard but... Internet access in public areas such as the pool is not attached so much importance on cleanliness. The white rattan chairs and various art seat furniture were as good as new, but unfortunately not very well maintained. If white furniture in the wind and weather outside, this just suffer. The pool itself was clean but around a corner stood in buckets, broken chairs, different shower heads, etc. if there would Pipes cleaned, it would be nice... But the is just Italian. A pool would be open daily from 10:00 until terin is 4:00 P.M. on site, but it is something to do more itself, instead.

The breakfast buffet was also very Italian! 1 x per sausage, cheese, ham, scrambled egg, mini sausages, yoghurt, jam and honey portions packaged, Kornflaces , rolls (also the typical Italian style), juice from finished bag powder, tea and coffee from the automat. But so is the just... Also had honestly expected and were therefore not disappointed not. But it would have been it better, we would have been very pleasantly surprised.

Now, but the absolute highlight. The location of this hotel is just perfect, amazing, fantastic, etc. in the middle of Florence-one can really reach everything to foot. Incredible and still very quiet.

Tahiti-if small with the car has high parking fees. 27, -EURO per day in a garage. Free parking charges it is in the center as good as not at all, because all only with residents to park designated appearances are situated. Something outside of the center one can get free parking but with something luck.
