Reasonable and good alternative to Manhattan *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was already a bit older but well maintained and we got very little to complain about the cleanliness. A bit stopped comparing stop. It has a small Starbucks corner in the lobby. Highly recommended is the "excecutive floor top as a great view of Manhattan!
Location
The hotel is located in New Jersey in an industrial estate and outlet district. We didn't try the outlets - looked but sometimes a bit old and deserted. The direct area was rather you. The bus service to Manhattan is cheap and good. The bus stops a few meters from the hotel - no rush hour about 20 minutes to Penn Station NYC. Very frequent. Timetable there were at the hotel.
The hotel also offers a free shuttle (return) from the nearest station (to/from Newark Liberty International Airport! ) --> positive! We arrived at about 11 :30 AM (after a 8 hours flight! ) and had to wait on our room until about 2 :30pm. A little too tiring despite Starbucks coffee! We doubt that all rooms were booked --> negative!

We had the excecutive floor. The rooms were large and clean. Even with safe! Also the grandiose view of Manhattan. Everything you could need including iron and board, hair dryer, small coffee maker etc. Small deduction due to the "Abgewohntheit".
Tips and recommendations
Good value for money. For a city trip to NYC to see certainly recommendable.
