Good hotel, but apparently overbooked *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe complex is to be recommended. This is a fact that also are other vacationers aware of. Therefore, the hotel is often overbooked. We had booked a double room and and a single room for our son (14 years). When we arrived at the hotel, we were told we could only have a family room, which was cheaper. Alternatively, we could have changed to a different hotel of the PickAlbatros group. However, we did not want to, as we came from a Nile cruise and through another transfer and check-in, this whole day of vacation would have been ruined. So we took what they offered to us and complained at the FTI guide on the same day. Since he did not want to confirm the lower offer we received, he himself went to the front desk and got us the rooms we had originally booked. Strange how he could achieve what we could not... So we had to pack our bags again and move. Therefore, make sure to be persisting if they do not want to give you what you have reserved.
A good thing was that we had to check-out our room at 12 o'clock, but still could lie on the beach and use the all-inclusive offer the whole day. We were even offered a room where we could take a shower before we left. There we could refreshen ourselves for the trip. This was great and also compensated a bit our stress on our arrival day.
